The future successes of the TRC Cobras will be built upon the foundations created by the players who have come before. We therefore want to honour the players who have made a massive contribution to the development of the TRC Cobras and esports at TRC.
Higgsboson was an integral part of our maiden 2021/22 season. With a peak rank (GC3) in the standard 3v3 format Higgsboson not only had the abilities and skills required to play Rocket League, but also the experience of playing with and against high performing players in 3's. Higgsboson was the default team leader (we never appointed one of the players to be team captain) and would always marshall the team with their insights and in game communication.
To single out 1 individual player from the 2021/22 TRC Cobras RL would be unfair, they all contributed and brought their individual talents to form a great team.
Thank you for representing TRC Cobras and integral part you played to get TRC Cobras off the ground.

EVO was an integral part of our maiden 2021/22 season. With a peak rank of SSL in 1v1, EVO always excelled at the mechanics of Rocket League. EVO originally played few 3v3 matches, so the learning curve and tactical requirement was significant. After many scrims the team nailed down their roles and EVO proved to be the flair within the side, they also showed the dogged determination required to achieve such a high rank.
To single out 1 individual player from the 2021/22 TRC Cobras RL would be unfair, they all contributed and brought their individual talents to form a great team.

BlueThunder91 was an integral part of our maiden 2021/22 Rocket League season. With a peak rank (GC2) in the 2v2 format BlueThunder91 was able to work hard and achieve the same rank in the standard 3v3 format. BlueThunder91 regularly played 2's with our highest ranked player EVO and was therefore the lynch pin between the flair and consistency required to win. Initially BlueThunder91 also compromised their own game to play on PS5 instead of their normal PC. After qualifying for Division 1 and the need for marginal gains the situation was rectified.
To single out 1 individual player from the 2021/22 TRC Cobras RL would be unfair, they all contributed and brought their individual talents to form a great team.
Thank you for representing TRC Cobras and integral part you played to get TRC Cobras off the ground.

In our first season in the Student Champs we decided to focus on Rocket League and Valorant. We had wanted to enter a League of Legends team but couldn't due to account setup issues. 'qwertmus' played Rocket League in season 1, in a team of low diamond players. On the whole the team was pretty awful.
In preparation for season 2 we started to search for students to play LoL, 'qwertmus' was very interested and played down their ability. However just a little research showed the truth, we had found our LoL IGL. Following a difficult start to the swiss stage we only qualified for Division 2 North, but with their leadership we stomped the winter split and got promoted to Division 1 North for the spring.
Thank you for representing TRC Cobras and integral part you played to get TRC Cobras LoL off the ground.

ManxBazza was one of our original players and has been part of esports at TRC from the beginning. In the 2021/22 season we had 4 outstanding players for a team of 3, the other 3 players were all Y13 students so ManxBazza was the star of the TRC Esports RL team instead.
For 2022/23 we had hoped to recruit players of a similar ability, however this proved difficult and many players turned out to be unreliable. So over the course of 2022/23 ManxBazza was the only consistent element with at least 6 different roster line-ups.
Despite great ups and many big downs, ManxBazza has always come back wanting more. Thank you for representing TRC Cobras and integral part you played to get TRC Cobras off the ground.

‘Cal’ has been an integral part of TRC Cobras, from its inception they have played on our Valorant team. They joined TRC in September 2021 to start their level 3 studies, including BTEC Esports.
‘Cal’ was a member of the 2022 Spring split team to make the last 16 in the highest division and the team which won the 2023 Division 2 Final. They may have been overshadowed by 'Exaii' & 'DJVras' in the final, but 'Cal' was devastating to the opposition and their contribution was a key factor in the victory.
Thank you for your contribution to TRC Cobras, and we hope to continue the legacy created by our pioneering players.

‘Exaii’ has been an integral part of TRC Cobras, from its inception they have played on our Valorant team. They joined TRC in September 2021 to start their level 3 studies, including BTEC Esports.
'Exaii' has always been an exceptional player and was one of the best players on the British Esports Valorant scene. ‘Exaii’ was a member of the 2022 Spring split team to make the last 16 in the highest division and the team which won the 2023 Division 2 Final. I watched one of our 2023 playoff games on the opponents stream and this included their entire comms, one player accused 'Exaii' of cheating because "their shots were so unreal".
Thank you for your contribution to TRC Cobras, and we hope to continue the legacy created by our pioneering players.

‘DJVras’ has been an integral part of TRC Cobras, from its inception they have played on our Valorant team. They joined TRC in September 2021 to start their level 3 studies, including BTEC Esports.
‘DJVras’ was a member of the 2022 Spring split team to make the last 16 in the highest division. They also won the 2023 Division 2 Final, with British Esports casters awarding 'DJVras' the MVP in the final. They also helped our Rocket League team on many occasions by stepping up to fill in for absent players. This never weakened the team because 'DJVras' was always better than those they replaced.
Thank you for your contribution to TRC Cobras, and we hope to continue the legacy created by our pioneering players.

They represented TRC Cobras from September 2022 - December 2023. 'Necro' has always shown excellent team play & overall game skills, they have played in most roles over their time in TRC Cobras. Necro was originally in our development team due to our 2021 team carrying over. He was quickly promoted and was an integral part of the 2022/23 Division 2 winning team.

Bradson_Gaming has been involved with the TRC Cobras since the Winter Split of 2022. Initially playing Rocket League as part of our academy squad. They graduated to our first team for a while, filling a gap left by some departing unreliable players.
Following the announcement in the spring of 2023 concerning Student Racing League, they rejoined TRC Cobras and proved invaluable in the setup of our Sim Racing Team. I was able to ask any question no matter how stupid it sounded, including the great "do we need sim racing socks" debate. In this years Student Racing League, Bradson_Gaming competed as TRC Anacondaz in two of the early races to cover for TRC Macro & TRC George. They also competed in the final race (Silverstone) at Williams F1.
Thank you for helping with TRC Cobras and we really want to build on everything we have achieved this year.
