Every week we will name a TRC Cobras Player of the Week. This will be the player who as made an outstanding contribution to their team, has shown significant improvement, or just made the greatest play of the week.

This award was chosen by the casters from British Esports Student Champs. It was close but they went with 'DJVras'.

2023 SPRING ELIMINATION WEEK 3

This was the semi final verses Serentity_Val. It finished 13 - 10 to TRC Cobras Academy to seal a place in the final. The whole team played well and all players contributed to a successful performance. Each player would have a claim to this award, but 'DJVras' gets it.

A dualists role is to engage the opposing team, and are likely to get a high number of kills in a match. Exaii took this to another level this week with a dominant performance which totally overwhelmed the opposing team.

Yet another outstanding performance from ManxBazza in our recent elimination defeat. Over the game the whole team contributed to the teams performance, especially when coming from behind to set up a final game decider. Although it wasn't meant to be, ManxBazza dominated game 4.

A dominant performance in this game made it tough to pick a player of the week, but Exaii has been a key player over the last 2 seasons and has deserved this award due to their return to form.

2023 SPRING WEEK 4

TRC Cobras LoL had a convincing win this week, however 'wolferw4399' was invincible with a 24 KDA including no deaths. With the role 'wolferw4399' plays, to go through an entire game without a single death is excellent. The game details can be found here

2023 SPRING WEEK 3

Player: Aspxcttsamurai

Aspxcttsamurai switched from Valorant to Rocket League this week to cover a shortage of players. The game was quite one sided with a convincing victory. All three played well but Aspxcttsamurai stepped up in an emergency to allow the game to be played at all. The game can be found here here (This game seems to have gone down as a default win due to the opposition not completing the check in process, DOH!!)

GarnetBlack deserves the player of the week award because he got some nutty revs on esperanza which won us last point in a very tight game. The match details are here.

An excellent all round performance from the entire team with each player contributing massively to the final result. After watching back the game UnknownLife645 had an amazing contribution and was instrumental in the turn around required to overturn the loss of the first game.

After a difficult swiss and group stage due to forced team changes, this week saw a return to form and more importantly a smile on the face of our IGL & coach ManxBazza. Great win and proof that we can move on and prepare for the Spring split.

After a tough swiss stage for the team, they have really hit the ground running with 2 wins on the bounce. Lxna has been exceptional, and also made the deciding play on illios that gave us the overall win in this week's game. Lxna was also put forward by the rest of the team for this award.

2022 WINTER WEEK 6

This was a very tough decision with qwertmus, just edging out IPI for player of the week. Overall it was a dominating performance by the team, with qwertmus & IPI neck and neck on many of the stats. qwertmus edged it, and is also our IGL.

2022 WINTER WEEK 5

A dominating start to Division 2 North, after the disappointment of not getting a place in Division 1 North (despite out qualifying our Division 1 North team , TRC Cobras). SHDW-musy is our IGL for TRC Cobras Academy, they have shown great leadership and have proven to be the lynch pin of the team.
